Gilles Plouffe -Founding MemberGilles has been a professional actor since 1992 and has taught acting since 1997. In 2002, Gilles met and began studying with Master Teacher John Strasberg. In 2004 they formed a partnership and Mr. Strasberg shared his teaching technique, the "Organic Creative Process" with Gilles. He continues to study and develop his knowledge of realistic acting with Mr. Strasberg and now teaches a variety of classes in Montreal in association with the John Strasberg Studios in New York. Mr. Strasberg directed a major production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2003, in which Gilles was a cast member. Gilles has worked as an actor on more than 100 Film, Television, Video and Theatre productions and numerous television commercials. He continues to actively work as an actor and a producer.

Valérie Gagnon-Laniel -Founding MemberI am a redhead born on the outskirts of Roxboro and have worked as a professional actress since 2004. After studying Dramatic Arts in college (recipient of a Grant of Excellence from the Governor General of Canada) and then going on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts, I met master teacher John Strasberg, with whom I have studied since 2002. Adopting the path of the actor who delves deeply into the creation of their own artistic journey; an ideology that touches and inspires me deeply. In 2002, I co-founded Cad et Rouselle, a children's theatre company, and then in 2006, I also helped co-found Intentional Dreams. Since 2004, I have acted in more than thirty productions, including: films, tv series, commercials and plays.

Leigh Ann Taylor -Founding MemberI am a born and raised Montrealer, of Scottish heritage. I have loved acting for a very long time...like ever since I was about 10 years old and sold tickets door-to-door to the neighborhood kids to come see my backyard show! Later on, as a shy teenager, drama class was the place I felt most alive and supported in my life; helping me gain confidence and express myself. I later pursued studies in psychology and social work, but always kept acting in my life...leading an Improv group at Concordia University, teaching Drama at a local day camp for teens, and taking part in numerous theatre productions and independent films. I have trained as an actress with the Organic Creative Process since 2003. I am a member of ACTRA and CAEA and a UDA stagiaire. Some of my film/tv credits include: A Problem With Fear, Naked Josh, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Coupable, Hidden Crimes, and the 2008 Oscar-nominated film I'm Not There. But one of my favorite credits has been landing the role of mother to my son Jack. All in all, I have a pretty full and fulfilling life; blessed with lots of love and light.

Luiza Cocora -Founding MemberI was born in a big city in legendary Transilvania, and as my mother was a professional actress and my father a theatre critic, I spent a good part of my childhood and teenage years in the local National theatre. Naturally, I never thought of becoming anything other than an actress. After graduating from the most prestigious theatre and film university in Romania, I immediataly started working with famous stage directors; playing lead parts such as Ophelia (Hamlet-Shakespeare), Irina (Three Sisters, Chekhov), and Checca (The Gossip Carnival-Goldoni). For my first role, I was awarded The National Prize for the Best Breakthrough Role by the National Union of Artists, and just before leaving my country in 2004, I was awarded the Prize for the Best Young Romanian actress by The Ministry Of Culture. After I arrived in Montreal, I started working with Mr. John Strasberg; a dream come true. Back in my country, during my university years, I was fascinated by everything related to Lee Strasberg and the Actors Studio. Having studied the Organic Creative Method for several years now, I feel that, as an artist, I have learned to express my inner world with a sense of uncompromised sincerity.

Julie Barbeau -Founding MemberA Montreal born natural globe trotter. After experimenting with the Organic Creative Process™ I finally chose to stop running, expand my roots and pursue my daily work as an artist, as woman and as human being in my birth place; splendidly multicultural. From discipline and passion combined, came the dream of building a space of creation that offers, of course, many challenges, even administratively(!) but mostly tremendous freedom, feed-back and fun... Simply put, the opportunity to express and to uncover my unique creative process, that I also apply in my work as a singer/songwriter. I am also an apprentice member of ACTRA and UDA.
Long live Intentional Dreams Productions!!! -
Cindy Francois -Founding MemberLife is made of dreams and mine began two years ago when I left my little Belgian country to move to Montréal. I’ve explored here the organic creative process and I quickly understood that the autonomy of creativity, the constant looking for reality, and the understanding of myself were what totally agreed with me. I don’t want to create too many expectations for myself, but it doesn’t stop me from having ambition. And my ambition today is to share with a large audience all the emotion that we are living with The Intentional Dreams Production, to maximize the artistic adventure and above all the human one. And in that way, continue to grow, but not really become an adult.

Jean-Paul Figasso -Founding MemberI have followed my dream to become an actor since I was 10 years old. Dream met reality while pursuing a career as Assistant Film Director. Over the years, as I realized what kind of actor I wanted to become, the Realistic School and the Organic Creative Process became an evidence. To create, give life, build reality. The Intentional Dreams Productions are the next logical step to pursue my training, while using my experience. I am thrilled to share these parts of life, this authenticity and the creativity of an entire team.

Liza Stekolnikova -Founding MemberI was born in Moscow, Russia, came to North America 15 years ago.
Studying COP for three years, and loving it.
To me the organic creative process feels liberating and natural, and simply brings the real artist in me.
My hope for the company is that no matter what is going on in our lives, we never stop dreaming :)

Owain Harris -Founding MemberRaised in London, Ontario, I moved to Montreal to finish a history degree at Concordia University. It was here in Montreal, while looking for ways to improve my public speaking, that I discovered the world of acting and altered the course of my life. I have been studying the Organic Creative Process for over two years now. I am drawn to this process for the simple reason that it allows me to experience new sensations about life. When you catch that wave of living within a character's multilayered world, it is a surreal and incredible journey. My hope for the company is that it allows the members to grow within Montreal's acting community and beyond.
-
Daniel Loyer -Life MemberAfter having taken a variety of acting classes since 1999, I ended up discovering the Organic Creative Process in 2006, taught to me by Gilles Plouffe. This approach to acting allows me to express my emotions realistically. Having already completed my studies in music, I quickly realized that my greatest, more urgent desire was to communicate with my own body and voice, instead of doing so through a musical instrument.
-
Kristian Hodko -MemberI am a working actor living in Montreal. My studies of Specialization in Theatre Performance at Concordia University have allowed me to develop a repertoire of work ranging from classical to contemporary theatre, as well as numerous independent and short films. My training encompasses stage movement, text, character development, mask, voice, and acting styles ranging from Elizabethan and Commedia Dell' Arte to realism and naturalism. My work is greatly inspired by John Strasberg's Organic Creative Process, whom I studied with in New York. I am determined to dig deep into the reality of my work and that of the human being and keep working at developing my craft and talent with Mr. Strasberg and Intentional Dreams Productions in Montreal. I am represented by Rosenthal Mercer Hamou Talent. I am fully fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Croatian.

Sarah T.Levesque -MemberI grew up wanting to be a classical ballet dancer; until the age of 16 when I realized that what I loved most about dancing was expressing myself as a character on stage. At 17, I trained as an actor for a year, and fell in love with acting. Fear that a career in acting was an unrealistic goal, I chose as a back up plan to get a university diploma. After graduating, I searched for an acting class that would challenge me and reveal whether or not acting was still for me. Enter Gilles Plouffe and the Organic Creative Process; followed by a resounding "yes!" I joined Intentional Dreams Productions this year, and I look forward to delving deeper into the art form and growing as an artist with the company.

Christian Cardinal -MemberI discovered theatre and improv at University while completing my B.A. in Literature. In 1998, I was cast in my 1st major role; playing the character " Pimp " in the play " De flamme et d'acier " by Martin Pouliot. For this role, I was nominated for Best Male Performance of the Year at the University of Laval's Gala des Muses. After taking a small break from acting, during which time I completed my Master's in Education, I returned to theatre via the Cafe-Theatre of Chambly. Being comfortable with comedy, as well as drama, I acted in plays such as : 10 petits negres, Oscar, and Edmond Dantes, an adventure story where I got to play the role of the famous Monte-Cristo. For this role, I won the award for Best Male Actor at the Gala des Arlequins from the FQTA in 2009. It was while acting with Chambly's Cafe-Theatre that I met Remy Poirier, who is now my agent. I am a professional actor and have been an active member of l'Union des Artistes since 2009. I have acted in a variety of mediums, including : television shows, films, and theatre productions.

Anastasia Unterner -MemberI was always passionate about theatre but hesitant to try it myself, but at age fifteen, I embarked on a 3-year study of the artform. Unfortunately, life events made it so that I had to put theatre aside for some time. But after moving to Montreal in 2008, I decided to reclaim theatre as part of my life. My studies in Communications at University and subsequent carreer in this field join together in the culmination of the art of expression. After trying several different acting methods, my path finally reached John Strasberg (NYC) and his Organic Creative Process, as well as Intentional Dreams Productions (Montreal), whereby the acting method used is the only one that truly brings me face to face with my most profound emotions .

Mylène Dinh-Robic -MemberThe acting bug bit me 17 years ago on stage in a high school production of a George Bernard Shaw play. My English lit teacher produced it and I played a servant. These days I'm humbled to find myself earning a living still pursuing this incredible and arduous craft. I use the word 'arduous' because I'm of the belief that to stay nimble and alert as an artist, regular and disciplined training is vital. My studies with Gilles and Strasberg's Creative Organic Process, spanning roughly a decade now, continually ensure that my artistic choices are taken with as much courage as they are honest.

Melanie Elliott -Support MemberI was born in Montreal and I've always been fascinated by human beings, no matter their origin. Young and shy, I would observe those that lived around me. Secretly, I dreamed of living as someone else, not by envy, but rather curiosity. I was finally able to accomplish this dream in my last year at elementary school when I found myself in my very first play "Ça parle au diable" From that point on, there was not a single ounce of doubt left in me; I wanted to live this art form entirely. In 2000, I obtained my first role in an independent feature, before I had even begun my studies in Drama, at the Cégep de Saint-Laurent. I also discovered the sport of acrobatics which enabled me to express myself through my own body. I joined the Mécanik Organik circus troupe, showcasing myself in general performance and fire manipulation. I furthermore pursued acting in various short and feature length films, as well as student projects and educational videos. In 2008, I discovered the Organic Creative Process, an acting technique which has reconnected me to my original goal; that of exploring human complexity, and of expressing it in all of its reality.

Izak Benrobi -Support MemberHaving been training with Realistic Acting for almost 8 years, I perceive it as being one less about acting and something more akin to sorcery where you call upon all your powers of focus, intention and imagination to create a world so "real" that all that remains is to relax into it and inhabit it fully. I am proud to be part of Intentional Dreams Productions as it brings together like minded passionate actors aligned with the same devotion to discovering reality within the imaginary.

I took my first acting class in University, on a whim, because nothing else fit my schedule. I became obsessed, to say the least. I then began auditioning for Independent films and started working. After graduating from University with a minor in Theatre, I was dying to get the same feeling I felt when I took my first acting class. A friend recommended Gilles Plouffe's class and I was hooked. I felt challenged and I connected so much with the Creative Organic Process. I have worked in Toronto and Montreal in Theatre, Film and Television and love that I can keep working on my craft through Intentional Dreams Productions. I truly feel fortunate to be able to be a part of this amazing group of people.
